In 2021, bilateral trade had reached to US$757.14 million. Pakistan’s exports stood at US$ 94.33 million while imports were US$662.8 million. This substantially dropped due to ongoing conflict.
We need to focus on our economic potential once the conflict subsides and peace returns to Ukraine. Efforts are in hand to enhance the volume of bilateral trade through establishing links between trade development authorities and business sectors of the two countries. There will be tremendous potential and business opportunities in post war scenarios, especially in the fields related to construction.
