Digital Power of Attorney

For digital power of attorney; the applicant needs to apply at the link https://poa.nadra.gov.pk .Requirements for Applying Power of Attorney on Digital platform (Digital Power of Attorney)

• Executant/Executants need to put original signature on Power of Attorney pages.
• Executant/Executants need to put original thumb impression on Power of Attorney pages.
• Executant/Executants need to paste/affix fresh passport size picture on Power of Attorney page.
• Put witnesses name and CNIC/NICOP/POC number on last page of Power of Attorney with their original signatures and thumb impression.
• Executant and witnesses Name, CNIC/NICOP/POC number and signature should match as per their CNIC/NICOP/POC.
• Electronic signature and thumb impression on Power of Attorney page/pages will not be accepted. Original power of attorney should contain only original signature and thumb impression.

The applicants are required to carefully follow aforementioned steps for completing power of attorney and scan it to upload the same in the digital power of attorney system.

Attestation of Power of Attorney

• Personal appearance of executant(s) is mandatory.
• 02 Passport size photograph of executant(s) are required.
• Provision of each executant’s original valid Pakistani passport or NADRA card along with its photocopy
• Unsigned original document(s) along with a complete set of photocopies of all the documents being submitted for attestation / legalization
• Executant(s) will need to sign the document(s) in the presence of High Commission’s official

Affidavit/Authority Letter/Undertaking/Declaration etc.

• Requisite text should be printed on a plain /legal paper along with its photocopy.
• Executant is required to come in person with original NICOP/CNIC and Passport to sign on Affidavit/Authority Letter/Undertaking/Declaration in presence of authorized official of High Commission.
• Copies of CNIC & Passport Executant & witnesses

Marriage NOC

• An Affidavit by parents or first wife (in case of married) regarding marital status & permission for marriage /2^nd marriage or Unmarried Certificate is required which must be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, or from its respective Camp Offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
• Copies of above-mentioned Affidavit / Unmarried Certificate & Passport is required.
• Identity card copy of fiancé.

Educational Documents

• Original educational documents need to be attested first by HEC or IBCC, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, or from its respective Camp Offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
• Copies of educational documents for the record of High Commission.
• Copies of Passport and visa.

Pay and Pension related Papers/Life Certificate

• Duly filled-in Pension form/Life Certificate and its copy
• The Executant is required to come in person with original NICOP/CNIC and Passport to sign on Pension Form/Life Certificate in presence of authorized official of High Commission.
• Copy of Passport & CNIC

Commercial & Business Documents

• Business/Commercial Documents or any other document on trade etc. of Maldivian Companies/firms are required to be notarized by Notary Public Office and countersigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maldives.
• A complete set of photocopies of all the documents to be attested.
• Authorization letter by a firm/company owner for submission and collection of documents along with his/her Identity Card copy.
• Copy of Identity Card of authorized representative.

Other Documents

Prerequisite for documents originating from Pakistan

• All documents originating from Pakistan first need to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or one of its Camp Offices prior to attestation / legalization from the High Commission of Pakistan, Maldives.
• Copies of executant’s Pakistani passport or NADRA card along with copies of the documents being submitted for attestation / legalization.

Prerequisite for official / public documents originating from the Maldives

• All official / public documents originating from the Maldives first need to be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maldives prior to attestation / legalization from the High Commission of Pakistan, Maldives.
• Copies of executant’s ID Card along with copies of the documents being submitted for attestation / legalization.
