Applicant needs to provide following documents for police clearance / character certificate for application processing:

Option l - Punjab Police Global Portal

Individuals belonging to Islamabad Capital, Punjab province and AJK can apply for Police Character Certificate through Punjab Police Global Portal. This facility is available now at the High Commission of Pakistan in Maldives.

Applicants are just required to visit the High Commission in person along with following documents. 

• Original valid CNIC/NICOP and Pakistani Passport

Currently applicants from other Provinces can only avail option II

Option-II

• Make an authority letter in the name of any relative in Pakistan.
• Bring valid original and copy of Pakistan ID (Passport or CNIC) along with your authority letter (one copy) for attestation at the High Commission.
• Send this attested authority letter to Pakistan to your relative, who will process your police clearance certificate from concerned Police Station in Pakistan.
• After getting (police check) from Police Station make sure it is attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or regional office before it is returned back to you in Maldives.
• You need to get your police certificate attested from High Commission before you present it to local authorities in the Maldives.
