Vice Admiral (R) Faisal Rasul Lodhi H (I) was born on 13 March 1966. He joined Pakistan Navy in August 1982. The Flag Officer held various command, staff and operational assignments in Pakistan Navy including Naval Secretary, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations), Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Naval Staff at Naval Headquarters. He also served as Director Naval Warfare and Operational Plans; Additional Secretary at Ministry of Defence; Flag Officer Sea Training, and Chief Staff Officer to Commander Pakistan Fleet (COMPAK).
The Admiral has number of professional and academic pursuits on his credit. These include Pakistan Navy Staff Course, Naval Command & General Staff Course (Philippines), National Security & War Course from National Defense University, Islamabad and Master Degree in International Security & Strategy from Kings College London and Royal College of Defense Studies Course (UK). His Command experience includes Command of a Frigate, Commander Coast and Commander Karachi. In recognition of his distinguished and meritorious services, the Vice Admiral was awarded with Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) in 2017.
His Excellency Vice Admiral (R) Faisal Rasul Lodhi assumed his responsibilities as High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Maldives on 17 November 2024.
He is married and blessed with two sons and two daughters.
