A Flag-hoisting ceremony was organized at the Chancery to celebrate the 79^th Independence Day of Pakistan. Members of Pakistani community as well Vietnamese guests from various local departments and business sectors attended the Flag hoisting ceremony.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran, followed by Flag hoisting by the Ambassador to the tune of national anthem. After the Flag hoisting, Messages by the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on the occasion of 79^th Independence Day were read out for the audience. Two-minute silence was also observed to pay tribute to our forefathers for their relentless struggle for independence and to show solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren.

During his remarks, Ambassador paid homage to the leaders of Pakistan movement for their unparalleled dedication and sacrifices. Ambassador also apprised the audience regarding the concerted efforts and structural reforms being carried out at national level to realize the aspirations of our founding fathers.

After conclusion of the remarks, the attendees were entertained with especially prepared cake for the occasion and sumptuous Pakistani cuisine.
