Ambassador Kohdayar Marri had a meeting with Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister for Science and Technology of Vietnam to discuss proposals to establish mechanisms of cooperation between Pakistan and Vietnam in the fields of science and technology.

          Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat began the meeting by giving a brief overview of Vietnam’s advancements in science and technology. Regarding cooperation with Pakistan, Mr. Dat hoped to set up frameworks for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

Ambassador Kohdayar Marri welcomed all the proposals for cooperation and noted that Pakistan valued Vietnam’s forthcoming response. He noted that Pakistan enjoyed a strong grounding in the field of information technology and looked forward to active engagement with information technology companies in Vietnam.
