A 9-member delegation from All Pakistan Marble Industries Association (APMIA) supported by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), has undertaken a productive participation in the renowned MARMOMAC Marble Exhibition & Fair at Verona, Italy from 23-26 September.
The delegation was led by Chairman AMIA Bilal Khan whereas pre-departure coordination and participation at the Fair and on-site B2B engagements were organised and facilitated by Trade & Investment Counsellor from the Embassy.
MARMOMAC is world's leading platform for natural stone industry cooperation and exchanges. Pakistan's sizeable participation at the Event showcased country's rich marble resources and demonstrated our growing potential in the Sector. Pakistani White Marble particularly drew admiration of the visitors.
A key engagement on margins of the Fair was B2B between Pakistani delegation and Mr. Flavio Marabelli, Honorary President Confindustria Marmomacchine i.e., Italian Association of Marble & Stone Producers and Machinery Manufacturers. Discussions focused on establishing technical cooperation, technology transfer, and skill development. Mr. Marabelli accepted the invitation to visit Pakistan extended by Chairman APMIA.
The delegation also held separate meetings with leading Italian machinery manufacturers namely Kedda and Biesse in addition to exploring JVs with Italian counterparts and enhanced market access for Pakistani Marble.
Pakistan's participation at MARMOMAC 2025 strengthened institutional and B2B linkages with Italian counterparts while creating prospective pathways for sustainable collaboration in Marble Sector.
