In a dignified ceremony held at the S’alah’udhdheen School, Hulhumale; H.E. Vice Admiral (R) Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani, High Commissioner of Pakistan was pleased to hand over, on behalf of Government of Pakistan, a gift of 32 Smart TVs to the School for digitalizing the class rooms. The TVs were received by H.E. Dr. Abdul Latheef Mohamed, Minister of State for Education, Maldives and Principal of the school Ms. Nasiha Idrees. Mr. Zulqurnain Ahmad, Deputy Head of Mission, Pakistan High Commission also joined the handing over ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the teachers, members of Parent Teacher Association (PTA), parents and students.

H.E.  Dr. Abdul Latheef Mohamed, Minister of State for Education, Maldives while speaking appreciated the contribution by Pakistan in the education sector in the Maldives. He thanked the Government and people of Pakistan for the gift of Smart TVs to the School. H.E. Minister affirmed commitment to continue work together in the areas of mutual interest. Students dressed in colorful Maldivian dresses thanked Pakistan in meeting their education needs and prayed for success of Pakistan.
