Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi led the Pakistan delegation at the 31st ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Ministerial meeting held on 27 July in Vientiane, Lao PDR. At the meeting the Foreign Secretary;

   🔵 Emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, security, and cooperation;
   🔵 Highlighted the importance of relations with ASEAN and its member states;
   🔵 Appreciated ASEAN's role in regional integration and prosperity;
   🔵 Shared Pakistan’s perspective on regional conflicts in the Asia-Pacific region, advocating for dialogue and inclusiveness;
    🔵 Addressed the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, calling for resolution per UN Security Council resolutions;
    🔵 Discussed regional issues including the situation in Gaza and Afghanistan.
