A prestigeous flag hoisting ceremony was organized in the Consulate General of Pakistan Mazar-e-Sharif on the occasion of “PAKISTAN DAY (23rd March 2024)”. Acting Consul General Shams-uz-Zaman hoisted the Pakistan national flag in the presence of large gathering of Pakistani community members from all walks of life.

During the ceremony, special messages from the President, Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. In their messages, the President and Prime Minister reminded the vision and determination of our forefathers. Special homage was paid to the commitment and sacrifices made by Qauid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his companions, who worked tirelessly towards transforming Allama Iqbal’s dream into reality.

Acting Consul General said that we are celebrating Pakistan Day in the Holy month of Ramadan - the month in which Pakistan came into being.

In the end, prayers were offered for peace, progress and prosperity of our homeland.
