Ambassador Javed Ahmed Umrani visited Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft , UTICA Sfax. He was received by Pakistan's Honorary Counsellor Mr Anouar Treki, President of UTICA, Sfax and other members of the UTICA Executive Office, Mr. Hamadi Daoud, Salim Marrakchi, Youssef bin Hamad, Hatem Al-Furati, Mounir Al-Afas and Mr. Hisham Al-Loumi, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax.
The discussions focused on developing a joint action plan for the establishment of partnership btw Tunisia & Pakistan businesses in the field of textiles, clothing and leather, keeping in view the capabilities and expertise available at both the sides.
This meeting with Tunisian businessmen at the governorate of Sfax will help to catalyze Pakistan's trade not only with Tunisia but also with Northwest , Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe.
