Born in 1966. Holds Master’s degree in Business Administration and Bachelor in Law (LLB).

Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1994.

Served at Headquarters as Section Officer (1996-1999), Deputy Director (2002-2004) and Director (2012-2014). Also served as Additional Foreign Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from May 2021 - July 2023.

Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Buenos Aires     (1999-2002), London (2004-2006), Madrid (2006-2012) and Kathmandu (2014-2018). Served as Consul General at Chicago (2018-2021).

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Tunisia, since August, 2023.

He is married with two children.
