The child must be registered within a period six months of the date of birth. In case, the child was not registered within a period of one year, the case will be referred to Ministry of Interior, Pakistan for approval. The birth certificate along with its English translation must be attested from Tunisian/Maltese Foreign Ministry. Requisite supporting documents may be presented in original along with photocopies i.e. (Child’s Birth Certificate, Parent’s Passport and I.D Cards, Resident Permits, Marriage Certificate and two photographs of child). One of the parents must appear in person at the Embassy/Honorary Consulate.
