The Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephonic conversation today with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Ararat Mirzoyan.
The DPM/FM welcomed the historic peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, terming it a positive step for regional stability and prosperity.
The two leaders agreed to consider the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Armenia. They also discussed potential avenues of cooperation, bilaterally and at multilateral fora.
