Pakistan and Azerbaijan held the 4^th Round of Bilateral Political Consultations in Islamabad.

The Pakistan delegation was led by the Foreign Secretary, while the Azerbaijan delegation was led by Mr. Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 The two sides conducted a comprehensive review of the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation, including political and inter-parliamentary relations; cooperation in economic, energy, trade, investment, education, culture, I.T and tourism sectors. Important regional and global developments including situation in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Middle East were also discussed.

 Expressing satisfaction at the upward trajectory of bilateral relations, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintain the momentum and collaborate closely on all issues of mutual interests, including at multilateral fora. 

 The next round of Pakistan-Azerbaijan Bilateral Political Consultations will take place in Azerbaijan on mutually agreed dates.
