Their goal seems to steal your personal and financial information through intimidation or false pretenses. Please be advised that the Pakistan High Commission does not solicit personal details, bank details, passwords, or payments from anyone.

If you receive such a suspicious call, please do not provide any information. We urge you to report these incidents to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and to your local police. If you have shared any information with the caller please report to Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). Your vigilance and cooperation with the relevant Canadian authorities are essential to prevent this scam.
