High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem, held a joint meeting with senior officials of various Ministries and departments of the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis in Basseterre today.

The delegation was led by Ms. Colincia Levine, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Climate Action and Constituency Empowerment. Mr. Sean Lawrence, Director Trade (Research) Ministry of International Trade, Industry, Commerce, and Consumer Affairs and Mr. Sheldon Henry, Head of Asia and Middle East Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis were also present.

The two sides shared views on areas of common interest including cooperation to meet common Climate Change related challenges and promoting bilateral political and commercial ties through G2G and B2B mechanisms. The meeting reflects interest of both sides in fostering closer ties and enhancing collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
