High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem represented Pakistan at the Remembrance Day service held at the National War Memorial in Ottawa today.
In the sombre ceremony, with the Rt. Hon. Richard Wagner, Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Canada, in attendance, Mr. Saleem, alongwith other Commonwealth High Commissioners, laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to pay tribute to those who had laid their lives, including many brave men from areas which are now in Pakistan, in the cause of freedom in the World War I & II.
