Ambassador Benoît Guidée, Director (Asia & Oceania) of the French Foreign Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, held talks with Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. 

They reviewed Pakistan-France bilateral cooperation including in trade and investment, education, culture and consular matters. Important regional and global developments were also discussed. 

Expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved in implementing the Roadmap for Bilateral Cooperation between Pakistan and France, signed in February 2023, the two sides resolved to further enhance collaboration in economic and educational sectors, ahead of the next round of Pakistan-France Bilateral Political Consultations to be held later this year.

The two sides will continue working closely to maintain the positive trajectory of bilateral ties and coordinate on all issues of mutual interest at multilateral forums.
