The festival celebrated Pakistan’s world-renowned mangoes and recognised the contributions of growers, exporters, researchers and trade partners in establishing Pakistani mangoes as a globally acclaimed brand.
Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch attended the event as the Guest of Honour. In her remarks, she highlighted Pakistan’s distinction as home to more than 250 varieties of premium mangoes and underscored the role of Mango Diplomacy in projecting a positive image of Pakistan abroad. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s longstanding tradition of sharing Pakistan’s finest mangoes through its diplomatic missions around the world during the mango season and appreciated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Serena Hotels and PFVA for organising the festival.
The festival brought together over 200 guests, including members of the Diplomatic Corps, senior government officials, business leaders, representatives of PFVA and officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The event showcased the global appeal of Pakistani mangoes and their growing potential to boost agricultural exports and expand Pakistan’s footprint in international markets.
