• Graduated in Commerce and International Trade & Finance, Karachi (1992).
• Associate of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ACMA), Karachi (1998).
• Alumni of Green Templeton College, Oxford University, UK (2008).

Professional career

• Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 2001.
• Served at Headquarters as Assistant Director (2002-2004), Deputy Director (2007-2008), Director (2009-10) and Director General (2019).
• Remained posted at Pakistan Missions in Bucharest (2004-07), Abu Dhabi (2010-13), Ankara (2019-22), High Commissioner of Pakistan to Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and Comoros (January 2022 - August 2024).
• Served with Chairman Senate of Pakistan and was responsible for International Parliamentary Relations of Pakistan (2014-2018).
• Ambassador of Pakistan to Bucharest & Moldova (August 2024-October 2025).
• He is married with 3 children.
