Born in 1978, he Joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 2005 and has since then held various positions including, Desk Officer for China, South-East Asia & Pacific; Deputy Chief of Protocol and Director General Middle East Division followed by Audit Division and Crisis Management Unit. His diplomatic assignments abroad include postings in Kuwait, Madrid and Kuala Lumpur. He is married and has two sons.
