Cultural Partnership Overview

Pakistan and Türkiye maintain one of the closest bilateral relationships in the Muslim world. While political and defence cooperation often dominate headlines, the heart of the relationship lies in public diplomacy — the direct ties between people, cultural institutions, universities, think tanks, media, civil society, and youth.

This cultural diplomacy initiative celebrates our shared heritage while fostering new creative collaborations between Pakistani and Turkish artists, writers, and intellectuals.

Named after the legendary Pakistani artist Abdur Rahman Chughtai, this award recognizes outstanding contributions to visual arts that reflect the cultural synthesis of Pakistani and Turkish artistic traditions.

Established to honor the legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's emphasis on education and intellectual development, this award encourages young writers to explore themes of cultural understanding, identity, and shared heritage.
