Keeping in view the Security situation in Afghanistan Pakistani nationals are advised to minimize their visits and only undertake journey when unavoidable
Respect local customs, traditions and laws
Promote and project interests of the companies/organizations that you work for
Present and project a good national image of Pakistan by adhering to and reflecting our national values
Be sensitive to the experience that Afghans have endured due to protracted wars
Show respect and regard for current leadership
Strike a chord of brotherhood, common cultural, religious and historical heritage during interaction with the locals
The local dress code may be observed
Be cognizant of own visa validity/duration
While moving in Afghanistan, always register with, and report to, the Pakistani representation (Embassy or Consulate) and maintain close contact
In case of any emergency or accident, the focal person of Pakistan Mission may be contacted immediately
Donts
Avoid taking part in political activities
Avoid illegal stay without passport/valid visa
Avoid political and religious discussions
Avoid publicizing travel, including on social media
Avoid un-necessary social media discussion
Abstain from indulging in any political discussion or debate that might hurt the sentiments and feelings of the locals
Avoid mentioning topics of ethnic tension or warfare
Be aware that many individuals might have strong opinions about faith and any debate on the same can potentially lead to a heated argument or unpleasant situation
Follow the local laws, rules and regulations, and abstain from taking photographs of sensitive places and installations
Avoid photographs of local people without their consent
You are not allowed to use or bring in any banned/contraband items, drugs, alcohol or pork products through airports and other entry points
Visits to places of congregation may be avoided in the interest of Public safety
