The Government of Pakistan has devised a new policy for Pakistani Zaireen visiting Syria. Accordingly, the Embassy took up the case with Syrian authorities and subsequently, Zaireen operation has been managed by the Mission since September, 2021 through PIA direct flight from Karachi to Damascus after 25 years, on weekly basis. Currently, Syrian private airline “Cham Wing” operates on weekly basis between Damascus and Karachi.

Pakistani Zaireen are performing Ziarah on very reasonable packages. As per approved zaireen policy, the Embassy of Pakistan is looking after the Zaireen in Syria and extending them with maximum support. On average, about 20000 zaireen visit Syria annually from Pakistan.
