To ensure easy access to all visa applicants, the Government of Pakistan has discontinued the processing of manual visas from January 31, 2021. Online visa applications are to be submitted on the following portal:

Important Guidelines for Overseas Pakistanis

1. After submission of visa application, "REVIEW" tab on the visa portal may be checked frequently to respond to any query immediately as application will be automatically cancelled by the system if not responded within 07 days.
2. Visa processing time may vary according to type of visa category and air tickets may not be booked before obtaining the visa. A definite timeline for approval is not possible.
3. Visa Fee is non-refundable in all cases.
4. You are advised not to submit incomplete application to save time and avoid unnecessary hassle. In certain cases, the visa processing may take longer time.
5. Applicant may be called for interview if necessary.

 

VISITOR VISA

Following Documents need to be uploaded:

1. Passport size coloured photograph with white background.
2. Validity of Passport must be over six months
3.  
4. Invitation letter printed on Government of Pakistan stamp paper (Affidavit), duly signed by the host/sponsor in Pakistan along with copy of host/sponsor’s CNIC, Pakistan passport. (Original invitation letter can be requested from the applicant if called for personal interview).
5. Copy of utility bill of sponsor (from Pakistan) as proof of residence may be requested from applicant.

 

VISA FOR CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN

Following Documents need to be uploaded:

1. Passport size coloured photograph with white background.
2. Copy of Passport. Validity of Passport must be over six months.
3. Copy of parents' Tazkara.
4. Birth Certificate for children.
5. Marriage certificate of parents.
6. A consent letter to the travel of the child which shall be signed by both parents and must be notarized.
7. In case of single parents, custody papers issued by court as well as divorce deed need to be uploaded with the visa application.
8. If one of the parent is travelling and the child is in Afghanistan, two separate notarized consent letters from both the parents must be uploaded with the visa application form.

FAMILY VISIT VISA

1. Passport size coloured photograph with white background.
2. Validity of Passport must be over six months
3.  
4. CNIC / NICOP & passport of Pakistani spouse/ parent.
5. Marriage Certificate/ Birth Certificate – duly countersigned by MOFA Islamabad or its Liaison offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Gujrat.
6. Invitation letter printed on Government of Pakistan stamp paper (Affidavit), duly signed by the host/sponsor in Pakistan along with copy of host/sponsor’s CNIC, Pakistan passport. (Original invitation letter can be requested from the applicant if called for personal interview).

 

MEDICAL VISA

Following Documents need to be uploaded:

1. Passport size coloured photograph with white background.
2. Validity of Passport must be over six months
3.  
4. Hotel Booking/ Invitation along with CNIC of inviter.
5. Medical Reports in original

 

BUSINESS VISA

Following Documents need to be uploaded:

1. Passport size coloured photograph with white background.
2. Copy of Passport. Validity of Passport must be over six months.
3. Details of business and a letter of invitation from the host/Associate Company/Organization in Pakistan attested by the Chamber of Commerce.
4. Recommendation letter from Pak-Afghan Chamber of commerce along with membership card.
5. Proof of investment in Pakistan.
6. Copy of Tazkara.

 

 

JOURNALIST VISA

Following Documents need to be uploaded:

1. Passport size coloured photograph with white background.
2. Copy of Passport. Validity of Passport must be over six month.
3. Letter from employer detailing the purpose of the visit.
4. Brief summary of the assignment to be undertaken in Pakistan.
5. Details of places to be visited in Pakistan.

 

VISA FOR NGOs

Following Documents need to be uploaded:

1. Passport size coloured photograph with white background.
2. Copy of Passport. Validity of Passport must be over six months.
3. Introductory letter from employer and the purpose of the visit.
4. Invitation letter from host NGO in Pakistan along with a copy of their valid contract / registration with the Government of Pakistan.

 

STUDENT VISA

Following Documents need to be uploaded:

1. Passport size coloured photographs with white background.
2. Copy of Passport. Validity of Passport must be over six months
3. Proof of admission in an academic institution in Pakistan.
4. NOC from the Ministry of Education / Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan.
5. Police Clearance Certificate from home country.
