FIRST TIME ISSUANCE OF CNIC/NICOP/SNIC TO A FOREIGN‐BORN APPLICANT

Requirements: 

• Physical presence of the Applicant (in case of a minor, the minor and both parents) at the Consulate General
• Applicant’s Birth Registration Certificate issued by the Consulate General
• Father's Pakistani or Foreign ID Card/Passport and its copy 
• Mother's Pakistani or Foreign ID Card/Passport (showing husband's name) and its copy
  • At least one of the parents should present Pakistani documents,
  • The mother should present at least one government issued document showing her husband’s name as appearing in the child’s Birth Certificate 
• In case of a single parent having custody of the minor Applicant through Court Order, original Court Order and its attested English translation with the section on child custody is clearly marked.
• Applicant’s (Parents’ in the case of a minor) Proof of Residence at the current address (e.g.  rent agreement, driver’s license, copy of a utility bill, etc.)
• Other supporting documents/applications/explanations, especially if any of the required documents are missing 

Fee:  NADRA Fee is deposited online by the Applicant as per the NADRA Fee Structure available at https://www.nadra.gov.pk/fee‐structure

The Consulate General collects a CAD 50 surcharge on the NADRA Fee 

Processing Time: Data of the Applicant is transmitted instantly to NADRA Headquarters, Islamabad i.e. the moment application is submitted online. Thereafter, the processing time depends upon  NADRA’s printing/dispatch of the Card. 

RENEWAL/REPRINT/AMENDMENT OF A CNIC/NICOP/ SNIC/POC

Requirements:

Applicants can  also apply online: https://id.nadra.gov.pk/  

• Physical presence of the Applicant at the Consulate General
• Pakistan CNIC/NICOP/SNIC/POC and copy
• Pakistan Passport and copy (if available)
• Foreign Passport and copy (if available)
• Applicant’s Proof of Residence at the current address (e.g. rent agreement, driver’s license,  copy of a utility bill, etc.) 
• In case of any change in the CNIC/NICOP/SNIC/POC (details accessible on NADRA website  at https://id.nadra.gov.pk/), documentary proof of the desired change e.g. in case of  marriage, a copy of attested Marriage Certificate is required
• In case of loss of CNIC/NICOP/SNIC/POC, Police Loss Report
• Other supporting documents/applications/explanations, especially if any of the required  documents are missing
• Copies of Pakistani IDs and mobile phone numbers of two witnesses
